8th Surf, Combesgate: First Photograph of Me Surfing
Had a good time today learning in some small, easy waves. Improved my paddling and balancing sitting on the board waiting, stood up quite a bit and my wife took this first shot of me actually surfing.
I don't have a zoom lens so for those of you finding it hard to make me out I have produced this photo enhanced version so you can see what's going on more clearly:

ReplyDeleteI think this is really noteworthy too - as one always thinks they are so much better than they really are. I am sure you are very grounded and this will of course not relate to you. But it does to an awful lot of people hence the glut of short boards sold to absolute beginners
