Nazare North Canyon Show Movie Night, with Andrew Cotton, Croyde Village Hall 15th Dec

On behalf of The Museum of British Surfing (which will open next April in Braunton,) I have organised a fun filled surfy film night in Croyde Village Hall (Deckchair Cinema).

We will be showing the North Canyon Show Documentary featuring Garrett MacNamara, our very own friendly local sometime plumber Andrew Cotton and also Al Mennie. Find out the story behind this curious beachbreak and the surfers who surf it. Andrew Cotton will be doing an interview with Pete Robinson from the Museum and answering questions. Jools will be have one of Cotty's tow boards there and will explain how he made it. Wavedreamer will show some short film clips.

A mere £5 entry fee (£3.50 for U16's) will also get you a free hot soup & roll courtesy of The King's Arms in Georgeham. Tickets are on sale at Gulf Stream shop in Braunton or contact me if you can't get there to buy some easily.

Of course there is also a raffle. Top prize is a top of the range 5/4/3 Zepha wetsuit very kindly donated by Tiki. Other prizes include Analog clothing, Saltrock headphones (Saltrock also printed the posters - thanks!), crates of beer from St Austell and more...

There is also a licensed bar - proceeds of which go to Croyde Village Hall.

Please help spread the word - it's a bit closer to Christmas than we would have liked - but we want to sell out of the 100 tickets available if possible. Ticket sales go to help fund The Museum of British Surfing (charity no 1131433).

Come on everyone... roll up, roll up!!!
